SYNOZ® is used for the relief of pain and stiffness in synovial joints, particularly the knee joint and other synovial joints, associated with degenerative and traumatic changes.
Our intra-articular injection products are minimally invasive medical procedures typically administered by a general practitioner. These treatments enable patients to continue their daily lives without pain-related limitations, supporting the preservation of mobility and the enjoyment of everyday activities. They may also help delay surgical interventions such as joint replacement (e.g., knee arthroplasty), which are both complex and costly.

Premium Lineer HA
The high-purity, Europe-sourced hyaluronic acid used in SYNOZ® helps support the prevention of inflammation.

Multiple injections
SYNOZ® can be administered as a series of 2 to 5 injections.

High molecular weight
SYNOZ® has an optimal molecular weight, which is of critical importance.

20 mg HA per syringe
SYNOZ® contains 20 mg of HA in just 2 ml.

Why two different injectable products?
SYNOZ solutions share common fundamental characteristics. Both are manufactured in advanced European production facilities in compliance with the highest quality standards. They feature ultra-high sterility, are water-soluble, and are of biofermentation origin (free from chemical or animal-derived proteins).
However, they also have important differences. These specific product characteristics make each option suitable for selecting the most appropriate treatment based on the patient’s clinical condition:
SYNOZ sodium hyaluronate is produced via Streptococcus equi fermentation and is meticulously purified.
Multiple injections or single injection?
SYNOZ injections are administered once a week, for a total of up to five injections. This weekly treatment protocol allows both the physician and the patient to monitor treatment response and progress.
SYNOZ is administered as a single injection, offering a highly efficient solution in selected cases and providing advantages for both physicians and patients.
Both treatments are suitable for all synovial joints. The physician or specialist determines which administration protocol is most appropriate for the patient’s needs.
KYERON Quality Assurance
SYNOZ is manufactured in compliance with GMP guidelines and ISO 13485 standards. Sterility and quality control of our hyaluronic acid products are regularly performed by accredited microbiological institutes.
Sterilization
The product is sterilized using terminal steam sterilization. This method ensures both internal and external sterility of the syringe. Compared to conventional methods such as aseptic filling, this specialized sterilization technique increases the syringe’s sterility level by up to 1,000-fold. Our sterilization process is a fundamental part of our commitment to safety.

Best-in-class clean products
KYERON is committed to developing the cleanest possible products. Our first medical solutions were biomaterials for open surgery, where the risks of infection, allergy, and inflammation are at their highest. For this reason, we have implemented unique sterility and safety measures from the very beginning.
